The theater is also used for more conventional entertainment including 3-D movies and cruise ship favorites like the "Love and Marriage Game". Visiting artists also perform here.
Two70 is Anthem's second major entertainment venue. However, it is anything but a traditional lounge. Located at the stern of the ship, this is a multi-level space with floor-to ceiling windows that look out not just at the stern but to port and starboard as well. This provides a 270 degree view hence the name. The windows can be covered and digital images projected upon them. A set of LED panels in the center can move and arrange themselves in different patterns. The seating is arranged partially as an amphitheater and partially as a living room.
During a show performers rise up from the audience and drop down from the ceiling. The room is used for virtual concerts, live music, stand-up comedians and other shows. The centerpiece show is "Spectra's Cabaret" - - a high energy multi-media spectacle involving the LED panels, aerialists as well as stage performers. |
The Music Hall occupies part of Decks 3 and 4. It has a large stage and dance area which can be used for dance classes during the day and in the evening for performances by top quality tribute bands such as The Beatles Celebration (above) and for theme dance parties (left). It also has bars on each level and there are pool tables on the upper level.
