SERENADE OF THE SEAS
PHOTO TOUR AND COMMENTARY BARS AND LOUNGESThe Schooner Bar (left) is a trademark Royal Caribbean watering hole. On Serenade it is located outside of the Chops Grille and Giovanni's Table specialty restaurants. It has live music (piano player) in the evenings and is also used for trivia contests.

The African-themed Safari Club includes the Congo Bar and the Zanzibar Lounge. At the room is a stage and and large dance floor. By the entrance are two self-righting pool tables.

The Crown & Castle Pub replaced the Pit Stop Sports Bar during the 2012 refurbishment. It has live entertainment in the evening. There are also video screens for showing sporting events.

Another addition from the 2012 refurbishment was the R Bar at the base of the Centrum. Here, guests can have one of the specialty martinis or the bar tenders will create a cocktail for the occasion.

Two decks higher, the former Champagne Bar has been transformed into Vintages wine bar.

A Royal Caribbean signature feature is the Viking Crown Lounge, offering views over the pool area and the surrounding sea. On Serenade it is divided into the Vortex nightclub (above), the Diamond Club (below left) for Diamond level and above members of Royal's Crown and Anchor loyalty program. During the evening Crown &Anchor social hour, the divider between these venues is sometimes opened to allow members to spread out. Across the hall in the former Hollywood bar is the Concierge Lounge for guests staying in certain suites and Diamond-Plus and above members of the Crown & Anchor Society.

Serving the pool areas are the Solarium Bar (above left) and the Pool Bar (above center). The Sky Bar (above right) serves the open deck on Deck 12.
