QUEEN VICTORIA
PHOTO TOUR AND COMMENTARY DINING (Casual Venues and Specialty Restaurants) |
Located on Deck 9 near the ship's swimming pools is the Lido Restaurant, the ship's informal buffet restaurant. It seats 468 guests and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The serving area is spacious. The room is done in light colors and offers panoramic views.
A daily event on Queen Victoria is Afternoon Tea. This is a
formal-style tea with sandwiches, cakes and scones served by white-gloved waiters. The primary venue for tea is the Queens Room. Queen Victoria also offers a champagne afternoon tea for an additional charge. You do not have to dress for tea. |
Specialty Dining
In the evenings, a section of the Lido Restaurant becomes Coriander, a restaurant.featuring Indian cuisine. There is an additional cover charge for Coriander.
However, Queen Victoria's only permanent specialty restaurant is the Verandah Restaurant (below), named after the much-loved
Verandah Grill on the original Queen Mary. With some changes in decor, it replaced the Todd English Restaurant that was in this
location when the ship was launched. It features gourmet Southern French and Spanish cuisine. Additional charges apply.
