ZUIDERDAM
PHOTO TOUR AND COMMENTARY POOLS. SPORTS AND OPEN DECKS

There are two outdoor pool areas on Zuiderdam. The Lido Pool is actually an all-weather area that is protected by a retractable glass roof. In addition to the pool, which is overseen by a large polar bear and her cub,, the area has three whirlpools. It also has a bar, a bandstand and a grill for light meals.

The Seaview Pool is open-air and overlooks
the stern (right). Adjacent to the pool are two whirlpools (below) as well as a large expanse of open deck for sun loungers (below right). The area also has its own bar.

For outdoor exercise, Zuiderdam has a large Sports Court - a
combination basketball, volleyball and deck tennis court - astern of the ship's funnels ( above left). The ship also has ping pong tables (above right). Zuiderdam also has the traditional shipboard games of shuffleboard (right) and quiots (below). 
The outdoor promenade (right) allows guests to stroll all
the way around the ship. |
