SHOPS AND OTHER PUBLIC AREAS
The Royal Arcade is Queen Elizabeth's shopping area. Covering two decks, this area is as interesting for its architectural details as it is for its premium
merchandise. It is inspired by the London shopping arcades such as the Burlington Arcade but done with Art Deco detailing.
Speaking of books, Queen Elizabeth has a two level library with some 6,000 volumes (left and below) The two levels are connected by a spiral staircase.
In the Alcove (below left), guests can work on a giant jig saw puzzle. Nearby is the Card Room (below right), which
is used for a number of purposes but which is primarily a spot for playing bridge and other card games.
