The Royal Promenade is Freedom's main shopping area with a series of shops along both sides of the central thoroughfare offering active wear, souvenirs, jewelry, perfume and cosmetics, fashion apparel, and general items. The Sea Trek Dive Shop on Deck 12 offers items for snorkeling and scuba diving during shore excursions.

Freedom has an extensive children's program. The Adventure Ocean Youth Facility (above left) has programs and classes for passengers three to seventeen. A non-alcoholic bar and club, the Living Room (above right) is a gathering place for teenagers. The Challenger Arcade (above right) has table games and video games for younger passengers.
