Viking Star's main pool area is midships on Deck 7. It is protected by a retractable glass roof, enabling the pool area to be used regardless of the weather outside. The area is also equipped with a large video screen for watching movies, a bar and a grill for light meals.

Aft on the Aquavit Terrace is the Infinity Pool. The back wall of the pool is clear glass and so guests have the feeling of swimming in an endless body of water when the ship is at sea.

Viking Star has an exercise trail on Deck 9 that takes guests past a golf putting green as well as past various exercise machines.
Of course, there is also shuffleboard.

A wrap-around teak promenade on Deck 2 allows walkers to travel the full circumference of the ship. Four laps equal one mile.
