MARINER OF THE SEAS
PHOTO TOUR AND COMMENTARY BARS AND LOUNGESPlaymakers is both a sports bar with televisions showing sporting events and a restaurant with a menu of snacks and spectator favorites.

Mariner of the Seas offers an array of bars and lounges. Their atmospheres differ in order to meet different tastes. They are located throughout the public areas.

The Bamboo Room (above) is a Polynesian-themed bar on the Royal Promenade. In addition to drinks, it offers "small plates" of food.

Across the Royal Promenade and slightly further forward than the Bamboo Room is the Barnacle & Barrel Pub. A British-inspired pub, which features live music in the evenings.

At the forward end of the Royal Promenade, just outside of the Star Lounge on the starboard side is the Cigar Bar. With over stuffed leather chairs and wood paneling, it has the ambiance of a 20th century gentleman's club.

Immediately below the Royal Promenade on the forward end of Deck 4 is the Schooner Bar. A signature venue on all Royal Caribbean ships, this bar is used for daytime activities such as trivia contests. In the evenings, it is a piano bar with a piano player leading sing-alongs.

High on Deck 14 in the Viking Crown area is Ellington's. It offers views over the pool area and out to sea. In the evenings, it has music with a DJ.
Ellington's is also used for weddings and renewals of vows. The former Wedding Chapel is now an escape room.

Also in the Viking Crown is the Diamond Club. This lounge is for guests who are in the upper tiers (Diamond and above) of Royal Caribbean's loyalty program, the Crown and Anchor Society.
Guests staying in certain suites and guests who are Pinnacle members of the Crown and Anchor Society also have access to the Suites Lounge (below), which is on the port side of the Viking Crown.

Serving the Windjammer (buffet restaurant) area on Deck 11 is the Plaza Bar. This venue is also convenient to two of the ship's specialty restaurants, Chops Grille and Jamie's Italian.

Several bars serve the great outdoors. The Pool Bar (above left) serves the main pool area while the Solarium Bar (above right) serves the Solarium pool area. The Sky Bar on Deck 12 is amidst the sun loungers that overlook the main pool area.
