Forward of the pool complex is the adult-only Solarium area. It is partially-covered with clear baffles to protect against the wind. In addition, a large part of the Solarium on Symphony is covered by an art installation called "Big Wonder." In addition to loungers and hot tubs, the Solarium has a small pool with a clear wall so as not to interupt the view of those in the pool.
Between the Solarium and the pool complex are two large whirlpools that jut out from the sides of the ship (below). There is one on either side.
Symphony has to large waterslides called the Perfect Storm. They are located at the forward end of the pool complex, one on either side.
Near the entrance to the Ultimate Abyss are two Flowrider surfing simulators (above left).
Guests can also hurtle over the Boardwalk 10 decks below on the Zipline (above right).
Other sports facilities in this area include the Sports Court, a full-size basketball court (not shown) and the nine-hole mini-golf course (below left).

Above: Circling around Deck 5 is the jogging trail. Inasmuch as it is inboard of the life boats, there is not much of a view for much of the circuit. However, at the stern, there are no obstructions and there are great views of the sea.
Below: Just ahead of the lifeboats towards the forward end of the jogging trail are two alcoves. One is equipped for shuffleboard while the other has ping pong tables.
